Avocado toast with sardines

This toast is full of bright flavors of sardines and other ingredients:

  • 1 can of sardines in pure olive oil , drained
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices of crusty bread, toasted
  • Thinly sliced ​​fennel
  • Finely chopped red onion
  • 1 sprig of fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh garlic

Method of preparation:

  1. Preparing the avocado: Cut the avocado in half and remove the stone. Scoop out the pulp into a bowl. Add lemon juice, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Using a fork, mash the avocado until smooth, leaving a few chunky chunks for texture.
